| Defendant to Plead Guilty in October 2008 Quadruple Vehicle Homicide East of Pendleton |

The Umatilla County District Attorney's Office announced Thursday morning that the defendant in an October, 19 2008 quadruple fatal traffic crash on Interstate 84 east of Pendleton is expected to appear today in Umatilla County Circuit Court to enter pleas of guilty.
JOHN COLE CARLGREN, age 47, from Carlton, Oregon is expected to plead guilty to four counts of Manslaughter in the First Degree and one count of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants at 10:30 a.m. at the Umatilla County Courthouse in Pendleton.
