Public's Help Sought to Solve Cattle Shooting Incidents in Jackson County

Oregon State Police (OSP) Fish & Wildlife Division troopers in the Central Point Area Command Office are asking for the public's help to identify the person(s) responsible for the illegal shooting of cattle - one cow and three calves - in late June and mid-July in Jackson County.
OSP Senior Trooper Mike Cushman investigated the first incident after the cow was shot some time around June 20th. The second incident was investigated by Senior Trooper Jim Collom when three calves were shot around July 11th or 12th. All were found shot approximately 20 miles northeast of Shady Cove in the upper Elk Creek Drainage.
