Both vehicles came to rest along the west side of the highway.

ROBERT PRIMASING was pronounced deceased at the scene. His wife / passenger, SHIRLEY N. PRIMASING, age 66, was seriously injured and transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Corvallis. Her injuries are believed to be non-life threatening. Both were using safety restraints.

The Volkswagen's driver, MEGAN EICHLER, age 18, from Willamina, and passenger HANNAH ZIMBRICK, age 18, from Willamina, were transported by ambulance to Salem Hospital with minor injuries. Both were treated and released. They were using safety restraints.
