Eugene Man Arrested for Online Sexual Corruption of a Child Charges

A Eugene-area man was arrested Thursday by Oregon State Police detectives on five counts of Online Sexual Corruption of a Child in the Second Degree following a five month investigation.
 
On August 21, 2008 Oregon State Police detectives from Bend and Springfield executed a search warrant at the home of JAMES MURPHY, age 46, at 1558 Walnut Street in Eugene. Subsequently, MURPHY was arrested on five counts of Online Sexual Corruption of a Child in the Second Degree. He was lodged at the Lane County Jail with bail set at $50,000.
