An Oregon City woman died early Sunday morning when the vehicle she was driving collided with another vehicle after she failed to stop at a stop signal at the intersection of Beavercreek Road and Highway 213.  Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers from the Portland Area Command office are continuing the investigation.
According to OSP Trooper Alex Monarch, on September 18, 2011 at approximately 1:55 a.m. a 2004 Kia Sorento driven by JENNIFER MILLER, age 29, from Oregon City, was eastbound on Beavercreek Road when it failed to stop at a stop signal at the Highway 213 intersection.  The Kia was struck broadside by a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup driven by ROBERT ASHER, age 58, from Oregon City, that was southbound on Highway 213.
MILLER was pronounced deceased at the scene.  An adult male passenger was transported by ambulance to Oregon Health & Sciences University with serious injuries.
ASHER was not injured.
All occupants were using safety restraints.  Alcohol is being investigated as a possible factor in this crash.
OSP was assisted at the scene by Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Oregon City Police Department, Clackamas County Fire District 1, AMR ambulance and ODOT.
