Lane County Interagency Drug Team Seizes Marijuana Plants, Marijuana and Other Evidence
An investigation initiated following several complaints from area residents in the 2900 block of High Street in Eugene, members of the Lane County Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET) seized 45 marijuana plants and over one pound of marijuana from a residence.
According to OSP Sergeant Erik Fisher, on September 26, 2011, members of INET contacted the resident at 2950 High Street after receiving several complaints from neighbors regarding suspicious activity and citing safety concerns surrounding marijuana growing on the property. A 36-year male was identified and released pending criminal charges including Unlawful Possession, Unlawful Delivery and Unlawful Manufacturing of Marijuana.
Task force officers seized 45 plants marijuana, over one pound of processed marijuana along with additional evidence of delivery from the residence. Seventeen marijuana plants were approximately 8' tall.
The Lane County Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team is comprised of personnel from the Oregon State Police, Lane County Sheriff's Office, Eugene Police Department, Springfield Police Department and Lane County District Attorney's Office.
