A suspect identified following the release of several photographs related to a September 28th attempt to elude and crash on Interstate 205 was arrested Oregon State Police (OSP) Monday afternoon when he showed up in Clackamas County Circuit Court for arraignment on a previous arrest.
JEFFREY SCOTT LANDTISER, age 26, from northeast Portland, was taken into custody October 3, 2011 at 2:55 p.m. in the Clackamas County Courthouse by OSP troopers and Clackamas County deputies. LANDTISER came to the courthouse to appear at an arraignment related to a September 3, 2011 arrest for DUII.
LANDTISER was positively identified after several tips, including one from an Oregon City police officer, were called in to OSP following the release of photographs obtained from an in-car video of the September 28th traffic. LANDTISER fled in a vehicle and was involved in a traffic crash on Interstate 205 in the Clackamas area from which he fled on foot.
LANDTISER was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on the following charges:
  • Felony Attempt to Elude in a Vehicle
  • Felony Hit & Run
  • Misdemeanor Attempt to Elude on Foot
  • Recklessly Endangering Another Person
  • Assault in the Fourth Degree
  • DUII
He was also cited for Exceeding the Speed Limit in Excess of 100 mph and Driving While Suspended.
OSP thanks all those who provided tips to help identify LANDTISER.
