Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are continuing the investigation into Monday afternoon's fatal pedestrian-involved crash at the intersection of Leigh Way/Highway 140 and Highway 62 in White City.
According to Trooper Heather West, on October 10, 2011 at approximately 1:15 p.m. a Kenworth truck pulling a 32-foot semi-trailer loaded with miscellaneous goods driven by CAMERON LINDE, age 37, from Grants Pass, was stopped eastbound on Leigh Way at a red stop signal. LINDE was turning right onto Highway 62 when his truck struck a 55-year old adult male pedestrian attempting to cross the road from the right side to the left side in a marked crosswalk.
