Oregon State Police is asking for the public's help in locating a person of interest in connection to investigations related to attempted unlawful entry to Oregon State University residence halls and facilities. This individual also has warrants for his arrest and is a registered sex offender who is out of compliance with his registration requirements.
JACOB MILEY BUTLER, age 27, is described as a white male, 6'1" tall and has a heavy build weighing approximately 320 pounds. He has brown hair, blue eyes, and numerous tattoos on his arms and carries a cane.
BUTLER may be posing as a tattoo artist to gain the trust of anyone he comes into contact with.
BUTLER has outstanding warrants held by Linn County Sheriff's Office for Probation Violation (ID Theft) and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender (Sex Abuse conviction).
