Reward Offered Related to Investigation of Illegally Shot Mule Deer near Crooked River Ranch

Oregon State Police - Fish & Wildlife Division Troopers in Bend are investigating the attempted illegal take of a large 4x4 mule deer buck in the Crooked River Ranch area. The incident possibly occurred between November 27th - November 30th. The buck was shot in the neck with an arrow where a portion of it remains lodged. It is illegal to hunt on the private property within Crooked River Ranch.
 

An enhanced T.I.P. reward of $500.00 has been offered for information in this case resulting in an arrest of a suspect. The T.I.P. reward offered is a combination of funds from the Oregon Hunter's Association State Chapter and the local OHA Bend Chapter.
 

The buck survived and efforts to remove the arrow from the buck will be done by Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife.
