OSP Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Two Idaho Men Following Marijuana Seizure near Lakeview

An Oregon State Police traffic stop in the Lakeview area Thursday morning led to the arrest of two Idaho men following the discovery of approximately 4 1/2 pounds of marijuana.
On December 11, 2008, at approximately 11:55 a.m., an OSP trooper stopped a Toyota pickup displaying Idaho license plates occupied by two men for a traffic violation on Highway 395 northbound near milepost 137. Investigative efforts during the course of the traffic stop led to the discovery of approximately 4 1/2 pounds of marijuana in the pickup with an estimated value of approximately $10,000.
The pickup's occupants, MICHAEL RICHARD LAMB, age 55, of Stanley, Idaho and GARY ALAN LANG, age 55, of Boise, Idaho, were arrested and lodged in the Lake County Jail for Unlawful Possession and Distribution of a Controlled Substance -Marijuana.
