Youth Fire Prevention & Intervention Advisory Council
Purpose
The Youth Fire Prevention & Intervention Program (YFPI) Advisory Council serves as a state-level coordinating committee to review the short and long term goals and the two year strategic plan for the YFPI program. The program’s mission is to reduce the incidence of youth-set fires by developing a continuum of care for youth involved with fire and their families, using community based resources.

Members of the advisory council review the Youth Fire Prevention & Intervention Program’s strategic plan.
 
Membership
The members of the advisory council represent the many public and private agencies serving children and families in Oregon. Members include by are not limited to:
  • Youth Fire Prevention & Intervention County Based Networks
  • Oregon fire service associations
  • Regional fire service representatives
  • Law Enforcement, including Arson
  • Juvenile Justice
  • Schools
  • Other private, state and federal partners
  • Oregon Burn Center
  • Treatment providers
