Craig Prins, Executive Director
Oregon Criminal Justice Commission

 

Craig Prins appointed as to the Executive Director position of the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission in 2004, after serving as counsel for Oregon's House and Senate Judiciary Committees.

Prior to entering the world of sentencing and criminal justice policy, he served as deputy director of Oregon's Department of Public Safety Standards and Training and was a deputy district attorney in Multnomah County.

Mr. Prins graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1997 and lives in Keizer, Oregon, with his wife and two daughters.  He also serves on the National Association of Sentencing Commissions Executive Committee.
