Multnomah County Juvenile Court Improvement Coordinator


Abbey Stamp works with the Multnomah County Family Law judiciary, juvenile justice and child welfare administrators to coordinate and implement system reform, practice enhancements and training. She has worked in social services for 20 years and has a passion for trauma-informed and anti-oppressive program development in child welfare and public safety disciplines.

Previously, Abbey was a family therapist for high-risk youth in the juvenile justice system, many of whom had involvement with the child welfare system. She also worked in rural mental with Spanish speaking immigrant communities in Western Washington County.

Abbey has a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies and Spanish from Mills College in Oakland, California, and a Master of Social Work Administration from Portland State University.
