Judge Nan G. Waller was appointed to the Multnomah County
Circuit Court Bench in 2001 and is now the chief family law judge in
Multnomah County.
Prior, she served as a juvenile court referee/pro tem circuit
court judge for 12 years. She serves on the Governor’s Equity in Child
Welfare Task Force, Child Welfare advisory committee, the State Commission
on Children & Families Collaborative, the Oregon Youth Authority advisory
committee, the Permanency Planning for Children advisory committee for the
National Council of Family and Juvenile Court Judges. Judge Waller also
chairs Multnomah County's Juvenile Justice Council and Wraparound Oregon, a
community initiative to help children with mental health issues.
