Unified Access Gateway for Accessing Selected OYA Applications

 
OYA's Unified Access Gateway (UAG) is accessible only by OYA employees with authorized accounts.  The UAG is accessible only from non-OYA networks — the UAG cannot be accessed from an OYA office computer.    OYA’s Technical Services unit will provide support for the UAG only for computers using Internet Explorer® browsers.

How to report an information security event

Information security "events" are when OYA information is, or is at risk to be, handled or accessed outside normal operations.  The information can be in electronic, hard copy, or verbal form.

When an information security event involves information protection; is unwanted, unexpected or accident; shows harm, intent to harm, or significant threat of harm; or the response requires nonroutine action - report it!

Oregon Juvenile Justice Training Academy
OYA provides in-house developed trainings as well as collaborative training with vendors and partners. Training facilitated by the Academy is for new and veteran staff at all levels. Topics include safety, security, treatment and leadership skills that address today’s issues for staff working with youth offender populations.  Additionally, the Academy provides professional development training such as Instructor Development Course (IDC).

National Institute of Corrections (NIC)
The NIC Learning Center is a gateway to world-class learning opportunities for correctional professionals. The Learning Center offers a range of courses in correctional and leadership and management topics using state-of-the-art learning delivery methods. All training and services are provided free of charge to eligible correctional practitioners.

iLearnOregon is the statewide learning management system. This Web-based tool provides a platform for classroom and online course registration and delivery, including access to e-learning content.
 
To register for a course in the catalog, employees can sign into iLearn Oregon, and search for the class title in the Learning Center's course catalog.
