| 2010 MACR Phase 2 Begins January 3, 2011 |
|
Phase 2 of 2010 MACR begins Monday, January 3, 2011, and ends on Friday, March 4, 2011.
During Phase 2 we ask that employers focus on eligibility issues for calendar year 2010 which could not be resolved until posting of the last reports for 2010. This is the Employers opportunity to resolve eligibility issues so that final 2010 records and reports post on or beforeFriday, March 4, 2011. Employers should pay their March 5th statement in full. Earnings on contributions derived from records posted on or before Friday, March 4, 2011 will be provided from PERS 2010 investment earnings and earnings on contributions invoiced afterthe March 5, 2011 statement will be considered “prior year” earnings.
The Year-to-Date Wage and Contribution Summary screen will be valuable for resolution of remaining 2010 eligibility questions and will have information for any members for whom employers have posted DTL2 records in 2010, including hours worked for all PERS employers in 2010.
