Utility Rate Comparisons
PGE's overall rate increase was 41.46 percent. Residential rates went up by 31.6 percent, and industrial rates increased 48.93 percent effective October 1, 2001.
Bonneville Power Administration raised rates by 46 percent effective October 1, 2001.
The Eugene Water and Electric Board raised rates 5.4 percent in April and by 33 percent October 1, 2001.
Springfield Utility Board raised rates an average of 10.5 percent in January and followed with an additional 16.7 percent October 1, 2001.
Clark County Utility in Washington raised its rates by an average of 23 percent January 15 followed by 20 percent August 1, 2001.
Emerald Peoples' Utility District April 1, 2001 raised rates 16 percent, and raised rates again by 16 percent October 1, 2001.
