| Overview |
|
The fund administrator is responsible for collecting, distributing and managing the OUS fund. The administrator is also responsible for developing and proposing the OUS contribution and surcharge rates based on the revenue and line count information. The staff of the PUC retains ultimate responsibility for determining the appropriate OUS contribution and surcharge rates. Telecommunications service providers are notified of PUC authorized changes in the contribution and surcharge rates at least 45 days prior to the effective date of any change.
