Continuing Education Learning Objectives

|
A "learning objective" means a statement of a continuing education provider’s goal for what a licensee will know or be able to do when the course is completed.
In addition to any other learning objectives a continuing education provider may develop for a course, the provider must ensure that each course within a course topic meets at least one of the following learning objectives:
At the end of the course, the licensee will be able to describe and, where appropriate, identify:

Provisions in laws, statutes or administrative rules relevant to the course topic;

The licensee’s responsibilities under laws, statutes or administrative rules relevant to the course topic;
-
Consumer protections relevant to the course topic;
-
Governmental agencies with primary responsibility for regulating the course topic and the agencies’ role in relation to consumers and licensees; or
-
The principles, practices, or procedures relevant to the course topic and their impact on at least one of the following:
-
Licensees,
-
Consumers,
-
Parties to the real estate transaction or property management agreement,
-
The real estate marketplace,
-
Real estate brokerage or property management practices,
-
The licensees’ real estate business, or
-
A licensee’s professional competence.
