The Navigation Console
navigation bar
The Oregon Recovery and Reinvestment Reporting map provides information on the location, dollars awarded and spent, and other details for stimulus projects throughout Oregon. When the application first opens, the overall stimulus dollars spent in each county is displayed using the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) icon. The size of the symbol is proportional to the amount of funding allocated to each county.

Icons representing funding sectors are listed across the main menu on the top of the application, with the sector title located above the icon (see legend to right for complete list). When you left-click on an agency icon in the navigation menu, the map and pie chart will display the expenditures for that agency.
Individual projects are represented as red pushpins, which can be clicked with your mouse to retrieve more information (See the Exploring The Data section below).

The left side of the panel shows the current funding category icon and text (i.e., Overall or a selected agency) in bold, as well as the geographic extent (i.e., Statewide or a selected county) in red text. Below the geographic extent is the total amount of funding for the selected geography and extent.
The pie chart located on the right half of the panel displays the breakdown of funds for the current display. If you hover the mouse over a pie slice, a box will appear displaying the total amount, and percentage of the total funding for that slice.
