The word diversity conjures many thoughts. At the Department of Administrative Services, it means combining differences and similarities and sharing a variety of cultures, backgrounds, styles, perspectives, abilities and ideas.


The DAS Diversity Council helps the department build an organizational culture and workforce that is culturally competent and inclusive. The council works hand-in-hand with the DAS executive team, providing these leaders with needs assessments, improvement strategies, best practices and a variety of events and development initiatives that the executive team can implement across the department.
