Local Government Transparency

Local Government and Special Government Bodies

HB 2370 which passed during the 2013 Legislative session requires the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) to create a new page on the Transparency website.  This page will provide links to websites established by local government (as defined in ORS 174.116) and; Special government bodies (as defined in ORS 174.117) for the purpose of providing transparency in the revenues, expenditures and budgets of the public bodies.  DAS will include a link upon receiving a request from the public body.  The Transparency Oregon Advisory Commission can also recommend links to include on this page

The Oregon Legislature passed House Bill 3188 during the 2011 Legislative Session. The Bill requires the 36 Oregon Counties to report a variety of expenditure information related to the use of Lottery Funds for the purposes of economic development. The County Expenditures of Lottery Funds is available on the Oregon.gov/transparency website.
