Glenn Ford - Bio

Glenn Ford joined Linfield College as Vice President for Finance and Administration/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer on July 1, 2007.  He provides vision and administrative oversight for long-range planning and budgeting, accounting, audit, investment management, human resources, risk management, facilities services, capital planning and development, public safety and security, environmental health and safety, integrated technology, and auxiliary services.

Ford’s twenty-eight year career in higher education leadership also includes twenty-two years of experience in all facets of university finance and administration at three public Land Grant research universities (Utah State University, Washington State University, and the University of Idaho).

Prior to joining Linfield College, he served as the Vice President for Business and Finance/CFO at Utah State University.  Ford spent nearly five years at Washington State University in Pullman, serving as Associate Vice President for Business and Finance/Associate Vice President for Student Affairs Administration and Assistant Vice President for Business Affairs.   He served an additional ten years at Washington State University (Pullman and Vancouver) in progressively responsible administrative positions.

Ford has been active in the local community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Willamette Valley Medical Center.  He formerly served on the McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the City of McMinnville Downtown Master Plan Advisory Committee. 

He served on the TIAA-CREF National Advisory Council from 2009-2012 and is currently the Treasurer of the Pioneer Educators Health Trust Board of Directors, Chair of the College Liability Insurance Company Board of Directors Underwriting Committee, and Board member of the West Coast College Consortium.

Ford earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Products (Business Management Option) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Idaho.  Glenn and Tammy, his wife of 32 years, live in McMinnville, Oregon and have two adult daughters, Amber and Jenny.
