Lyn Hennion is a senior vice president of Umpqua Investments, Inc., operating out of the Medford office. Previously, she was a vice president and senior regional manager for the Franklin Templeton mutual funds, based first in Oregon and later in Philadelphia and Washington, DC. A graduate of Stanford University, Lyn also completed the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds the Certified Financial Planner designation.
An active community member, Lyn currently chairs the boards of Pacific Retirement Services and the Oregon 529 College Savings Network and serves on the boards of two public foundations, the Applegate Valley Rural Fire Protection District #9 and the Buncom Historical Society. She is also a member of the investment committee of the Oregon Community Foundation and a former member of the board of organizations ranging from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Craterian Performances Company to the Rogue Valley Airport Advisory Committee and Governor Kitzhaber’s “Ten Year Plan for Oregon.”
Lyn was named three times by Worth magazine to their list of the “Best Financial Advisers” in the country. She was also recognized by Registered Representative magazine as one of 10 "Outstanding Brokers" for 2000 and is listed in the Guide to America’s Best Financial Planners compiled by the Consumers’ Research Council of America.
She and her late husband have two grown sons and five grandchildren. She lives near the historic town of Buncom in the Applegate Valley of Southern Oregon.
