For more than 55 years, Apprisen has been helping people get and stay on track with their money. Our objective has been to develop solutions for all stages of an individual’s financial life. As a result of our experience, we have identified the elements of effective money management. That is what has driven the development of many of the materials we use in our sessions and the topics we teach in our communities.

Insurance literacy is financial literacy. There is perhaps no other consumer product that we spend so much money on, yet spend so little time thinking about than insurance. Because of that, we see examples every day of people getting into financial trouble because they didn’t know what they were buying. To help us become informed shoppers of insurance, the Oregon Insurance Commissioner’s Office has created online tools for students, teachers, and parents to assist in understanding insurance. In addition to a wide variety of Consumer Guides and Tip Sheets, we have games and actives that make learning fun and easy. We are also willing to come to your classroom or organization and talk about the wide world of insurance. Remember, if you have insurance problems, “Let us help. We speak Insurance.”
