The Commission is Paperless
Effect April 1, 2013, the Commission is no longer issuing paper licenses or sending paper letters.  Letters will be delivered via an applicant’s email addresses on file with the Commission.  The move to paperless is due to severe budget reductions the agency has experienced as a result of the depressed economy.
Going paperless saves our agency over $5,000 per month. This figure does not include the time it takes for staff to prepare and mail out paper licenses and letters. The savings of staff time will be used to process licenses more quickly.
As a convenience, for licenses processed on or after April 1, 2013, an image of your license may be obtained through the Educator Look Up feature of the TSPC Web. By completing all of the information on the look-up feature, including your date of birth and social security number, you will be able to access this licensure image.
A full paper copy with a seal may be obtained by requesting a duplicate and submitting the short Duplicate Application form and $20.
