  • Welcome to Fleet & Parking Services

    Fleet Services provides safe and economical transportation for the business needs of the state. Under ORS Chapter 283, Fleet is given authority to regulate and oversee nearly all state-owned vehicles. Fleet assists other state agencies with vehicle aquisition, storage, fueling, maintenance, disposal and other requirements.

    Parking Services provides parking options for state employees visiting or working in the Salem Capitol Mall area, the Portland State Office Building or the Eugene State Office Building. Under ORS Chapter 276, Parking identifies, develops, and promotes alternative modes of transportation for state employees in Salem.

  • Disabled Placard Rules

    The City of Salem has adopted new policies for people using state-issued Disabled Person Parking Placards. These new rules apply only to City of Salem metered spaces. The State Parking Services policy of allowing disabled visitors free parking 
    at State owned Visitor Disabled and metered spaces is not changing at this time.

    The new Disabled Parking Program will take effect on city operated metered spaces July 22, 2015.

  • Fleet & Parking Services Service Level Agreement

    Under the auspices of the EAM Customer Utility Board (CUB), DAS Fleet & Parking Services and a group of customer agency representatives completed the development of the new Fleet & Parking Services Service Level Agreement (SLA). The final SLA document was voted and approved unanimously by the members of the Board during the September CUB meeting.

    The objective of this SLA is to ensure both Fleet & Parking Services staff and customers understand and agree how the services will be performed and the responsibilities and expectations of each party. The SLA describes fleet and parking services, identifies service level performance targets and responsibilities, and documents service management processes agreed upon by DAS and representatives from all four Customer Utility Boards. The SLA is a working document meant to reflect the continuous change in services and operating processes delivered by DAS, and the change in service level expectations agreed upon between Fleet & Parking Services and customers.
