Training - Part 2
The Oregon Safety Model helps caseworkers make decisions about child safety. Some caseworkers and supervisors know and use the model well but other caseworkers and supervisors do not. Using the Oregon Safety Model is important to make sure children are safe. The Child Welfare office has basic Oregon Safety Model trainings available online, but more trainings, as well as coaching and a quality assurance/quality improvement system is needed to help caseworkers and supervisors use the model consistently. The purpose of this project is to create new training so that all staff understand and use the Oregon Safety Model and use it correctly.
