It is that time of year when organizations are preparing to
report their unclaimed property for the year. Reports are required to be
filed in a National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (NAUPA)
standard electronic file format. Paper reports may be sent back with
instructions on how to file correctly.
We have a new online reporting tool
to make filing easier. You may use it to drop off your NAUPA formatted
reporting file or create a report. The application does not save your
work, so we do not recommend using it to create a report if you have more than
15 items. This is our first full year using it, so please let us know if
you have any issues or questions using the tool.
We will accept reports generated by other software tools as
well. UPExchange and HRS Pro are two free reporting software
are due not later than November 2, 2015(the first business day of the month).
