Payroll Taxes

Our sites are experiencing intermittent connectivity issues across multiple agency systems. Unfortunately, since it is second quarter filing the Oregon Payroll Reporting System (OPRS) seems to be the system most widely impacted. Refreshing the page or attempting to access our sites at another time may provide some relief, but is not a guaranteed solution.  

We have no estimated time of resolution, but it is one of the State's highest priorities. 

In the meantime, if you have OTTER installed on your computer you can use that to file your 2/19 reports.

Welcome to the Oregon Payroll Reporting System (OPRS) Page!​

The Oregon Payroll Reporting System (OPRS) is a secure Web based application that will replace several reporting options and allow the department to shift from the labor intensive process of processing paper filings.

An OPRS Steering Committee meets regularly and includes Oregon business owners to help take employer needs into account. This new application benefits for employers including:

  • ​An easier, faster, and more user-friendly way to file payroll tax reports
  • No downloads or installations to your computer
  • Improved accuracy of payroll data by having checkpoints throughout the application
  • Access to real-time information
