Routine Program Changes of the Oregon Coastal Management Program
Section 306 of the Coastal Zone Management Act, as amended, provides states with a means to keep their federally-approved coastal management programs current.  For updates that do not substantially change any program areas, states update their coastal programs by submitting Routine Program Change (RPC) requests to NOAA.
Oregon’s RPC requests detail changes made to state and local authorities incorporated as part of the OCMP, and identify specific enforceable policies to be used in federal consistency reviews.
