LCDC Meeting Reports, Feb. 12, 2008
-----Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008-----

The Land Conservation and Development Commission will conduct a public hearing on February 12, 2008, at 2:30 p.m., to consider temporary administrative rules to specify the procedures for supplemental review of Measure 37 claims under Measure 49 (Chapter 424, Oregon Laws 2007).
In addition, LCDC will consider minor changes to existing temporary rules implementing Measure 49 (these temporary rules are codified at OAR 660, division 41).
The existing temporary rules were adopted on December 10, 2007, to address the effect of 2007 Ballot Measure 49 on waivers that have already been approved by DLCD under 2004 Ballot Measure 37, including the effect for purposes of the state agency coordination requirements under ORS 197.180, and to delegate to the director the responsibilities and authorities of the Commission in responding to claims under Ballot Measure 49. As part of its proposed action on February 12, the Commission may adopt minor changes to the existing Measure 49 temporary rules.
The Commission has 180 days from December 10, 2007 to adopt the temporary rules as permanent rules.
See the following notice providing information on the time and location of the hearing, and how to provide testimony and obtain copies of the proposed temporary rules. The temporary rules proposed for amendment, and the proposed new temporary rules, are below:
