  • The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Volunteer Program earned the
    Outstanding Volunteer Program in 2011 from the Governor's Volunteer Awards!

     Volunteer Training Schedule (updated March 4, 2014)

    Trainings are 9:00-3:30 for five days and locations are arranged for the local area.   Applications must be received at least two weeks before training for processing.  Sorry, at this time there are no weekend or evening trainings.

    Statewide Training for current volunteers April 29, 30, & May 1

    Bend Area - May 13, 14, 15, 28 & 29 *new*

    Portland Metro Area - May 28, 29, June 4, 5 & 18

    Salem Area - June 10, 11, 17, 18, & 25

    Portland Metro Area - September 10, 11, 17, 18 & October 1

    Southern Oregon - October 14, 15, 21, 22 & 23

    Salem Area - September 30, October 1, 7, 8 & 22
