    Contractors have been looking for, and adopting, many tools and methods to cut costs and improve profit margins. Contractors who construct ODOT’s highways are increasingly using machine control equipment in order to provide more cost-efficient projects. Effective January 1, 2015, ODOT requires delivery of a digital data bidding reference package for most roadway construction projects.
