Public Transit - ODOT

The Public Transportation Advisory Committee (PTAC) provides a forum for public and special-needs transportation providers within Oregon.

 About PTAC

About PTAC PTAC photo small.jpg

PTAC provides input regarding significant transportation issues to the Oregon Transportation Commission and ODOT Rail and Public Transit Division.

In addition to making policy and program recommendations, PTAC members promote alternative transportation modes and support transportation options, endorsing local community and regional solutions.

Vision Statement

As an integral part of the greater state transportation system, public transportation resources provide users with seamless access, mobility, and connectivity. Citizens and visitors benefit economically through access to services, employment, and recreation, which in turn promotes healthy, thriving communities. PTAC's priority is to promote innovation by investing in Oregon's intermodal solutions and strategies that create economic growth. We must be flexible, adaptable, and solution-oriented to meet future opportunities. To this end, PTAC is committed to bold leadership and innovation to achieve our vision.
