Read the documents and resources below to learn more about project eligibility. Cities, Counties, Tribes, transit districts, ODOT, and other road authorities are encouraged to apply when specific eligibility for Rapid Response requirements are met.
The Rapid Response Infrastructure Grant Program is now accepting applications. Please follow these steps:
Step 1: Read the Program Guidelines and FAQs to determine project eligibility and watch an informational Webinar (38:20). Applicants are strongly encouraged to fill out the Letter of Intent (LOI). or contact the Program Manager prior to filing out the application to discuss eligibility. The Program Manager will consult with the consulting the Safe Routes to School Advisory Committee- Rapid Response Subcommittee on each LOI and respond to the LOI in approximately 10 days.
Step 2: Submit the Online Application. Attach the required signed signature pages:
Projects are recommended on a rolling basis by the Safe Routes to School Advisory Committee- Rapid Response Subcommittee. Final approval is provided monthly or as needed by the Oregon Transportation Commission. Selected projects will be posted and added to the Funded SRTS Project Tracking Map once this process is completed.
