Oregon National Guard prepares for wildfire support
Salem-Extreme fire indices in the state of Oregon have prompted to Oregon National Guard to prepare for wildland fire suppression support. 

The 1042nd Medical Company (Air Ambulance) is sending the UH-60 Firehawk to the DFPA Lightning Incident in the Roseburg area.
Det. 1, Co. E, 168th Aviation is sending two CH-47 Chinook helicopters and support personnel to the Winter Fire near Lakeview. Two additional CH-47 Chinooks are reporting to the Beagle Sky Airport near Medford for assistance with the 40 fires raging in that area.
The 41st Separate Infantry Brigade (Enhanced) will provide a 5,000-gallon fuel tanker to the Paisley Airport for support to the Winter Fire.
The 641st Medical Battalion (Evacuation) will activate an aviation task force command that will provide 24-hour logistical support.
Headquarters, Oregon National Guard, will activate the emergency operations center and conduct 24-hour operations in response to the wildfires throughout Oregon.
