Health Awareness Day to be hosted by the State of Oregon Military Safety and Wellness Team
On Wednesday, October 10, 2007, The Oregon Military Department will host a Health Awareness Day at the Salem Armory Auditorium located at 2320 17th St. NE in Salem. The event begins at 8 a.m. and will run until 6 p.m. This event is open to the public and all are encouraged to take advantage of this event.

There will be health information, prizes, Freebies, Health Screenings, Free Seated Chair Massages, Free snacks and beverages, demonstrations and Massage appointments (for a fee).

Highlights of the event will be free Blood pressure testing, body fat testing, spinal scans and PH testing. Additional testing for a fee will be Lung Function testing $10, total cholesterol with glucose (non fasting, finger stick test) $25, Full lipid Cholesterol with glucose test $30, Carotid Artery Scan $30 and Flu Shots $30. Many insurances are accepted. Please note that screenings are paid for by the participant. Receipts are available, may be used for FLEX Plan. Cash, checks and credit cards will also be accepted.
