Ceremony for mobilizing Army National Guard members set for Thursday
Approximately 135 soldiers are scheduled to mobilize in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in a ceremony scheduled for 2 p.m., Jan. 29, at the Army Aviation Support Facility, Hangar 1, at 1921 Turner Rd., Salem, Ore.

Soldiers from Charlie Co., 7th Battalion, 158th Aviation, along with detachments from Delta and Echo Companies, 7th Bn., 158 Avn., all under the command of Maj. Geoffrey G. Vallee are set to deploy to Iraq.

The 7th Bn., 158th Avn. soldiers will conduct flight, aero medical evacuation and patient transport missions within the Iraq area of responsibility.

Governor Ted Kulongoski and Maj. Gen. Raymond F. Rees, The Adjutant General, Oregon National Guard, are scheduled to attend the ceremony.

Family, friends and the media are invited to attend.
