Oregon National Guard Emergency Relief Fund to receive donation based on local race horse winnings
Portland Meadows and local radio station, 95.5 FM "The Game", will present a donation check to the Oregon National Guard's Emergency Relief Fund today at Portland Meadows, in Portland, Ore.

A local race horse named Mystacallie has earned approximately $30,000 in winnings during the 2008-2009 season. She is set to run in the Donna Jensen Handicap race today at 3 p.m. The check will be presented to Staff Sgt. Richard Wirfs, Vice President of the Oregon National Guard's Emergency Relief Fund, immediately following the race.

Mystacallie, "The People's Horse" flourished at Portland Meadows, according to her trainer Ben Root, following humble beginnings at Emerald Downs in the summer of 2008. All her winnings during her 2009 season were donated to the charity of choice by local sports radio station, 95.5 The Game.

The Oregon National Guard, Portland Meadows, and 95.5 The Game invite all owners and fans to join Mystacallie for the check presentation.
