Demobilzation Ceremony for the 116 Air Control Squadron scheduled or Sunday, July 24 at the Portland
PORTLAND, Ore. -   A deployment ceremony for the Airmen with the 116 Air Control Squadron, Combat Operation Group, Oregon Air National Guard is scheduled to take place at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at the Rosenbaum Hanger, building number 375, at the Portland Air National Guard Base. 
Maj. Gen. Raymond F. Rees, the Adjutant General of the Oregon National Guard, and Chief Justice Paul De Muniz, Oregon Supreme Court Justice, are scheduled take part in the ceremony. 
Airmen with the 116 ACS were deployed for 4 months to the Middle East in support of Air Forces Central, providing Air Battle Management support to regional missions.
The airmen carried out more than 15,000 coalition missions, providing a complete air picture to coalition forces, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Joint task force Horn of Africa.
They were joined by three members of the 270th Air Control Squadron, based at Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, Ore., one Airman from the 133rd Test Squadron, Iowa Air National Guard, and two members from the 141st Air Control Squadron, Puerto Rico Air National Guard.
