Information
Heritage organizations contain important and vital information.
The Heritage Commission completed in early 2011 a Heritage Vitality Study that identified eight key issues confronting heritage organizations in the state. The study was launched in 2009 when several major heritage organizations either closed or were in danger of closing.

Based upon the study, the Commission made four recommendations, including asking the Legislature to create the Task Force.
