Oregon has several schools that offer training in aviation careers, including piloting, aircraft maintenance, and drone operations.

Schools and Programs in Oregon

Portland Community College (PCC) – Offers programs for becoming a pilot or aircraft mechanic.

Lane Community College – Trains students to become professional pilots or aircraft maintenance technicians. 

Central Oregon Community College (COCC) – Has programs for airplane and helicopter pilots, as well as drone operations. 

Columbia Gorge Community College – Provides training for aircraft maintenance careers. 

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Portland Campus) – Offers aviation and aerospace programs, including online learning options. 

Klamath Community College – Prepares students for careers as airplane or helicopter pilots.

Hillsboro Aero Academy – A flight school that trains both helicopter and airplane pilots. 

Salem-Keizer Public Schools (CTEC) – Gives high school students hands-on experience in aviation careers, including piloting and aircraft maintenance.
