2019 Oregon Zero Energy Ready Commercial Code

The effective date is Oct. 1, 2019.
The commercial construction energy provisions in Part I of the 2019 Oregon Zero Energy Ready Commercial Code are based on ANSI/ASHRAE/IES Standard 90.1-2016. The following guide is intended to help in the transition from the 2014 Oregon Energy Efficiency Specialty Code (OEESC) to the new energy code.

Code review and adoption

For the adoption of the 2019 Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC), the Building Codes Structures Board has appointed a committee to review the scientific and technical provisions of each proposed change, model code change, and existing Oregon amendment. The board will review the committee's findings and make a final recommendation to the division for adoption.
