Energy Trust of Oregon can help with energy-saving home upgrades

Energy Trust is a nonprofit organization that provides cash incentives and expertise to people planning energy-saving home upgrades and renewable energy projects.

Energy Trust serves customers of PGE, Pacific Power, NW Natural, Cascade Natural Gas and Avista in Oregon and customers of NW Natural in Washington.

Finding qualified contractors

Energy Trust lists contractors that are up to date on its standards, incentives and other requirements. These trade ally contractors receive special training and can help you complete cash incentive applications.

You can also call 1-866-368-7878 for help with this.

You should still verify that the contractor holds an active Construction Contractors Board (CCB) license. You can do that on this website. The most accurate way to search is with the contractor's CCB license number. Click on the "home" page and then "Search here" in the orange box.

If you need help, contact our Licensing staff at 503-378-4621.

Avoid scams
Some individuals and companies use the Energy Trust name or logo for fraudulent purposes or make claims about incentives or tax credits that are inaccurate.

If you have questions about whether you are dealing with a true "trade ally" or a company is giving you accurate information:
  • Contact the trust at 1-866-368-7878 and press 0 to reach a representative.
  • You can also look up a contractor here.
  • You can email the trust at info@energytrust.org
The Energy Trust does NOT solicit door-to-door for energy audits or ask for your Social Security number or make unsolicited phone calls seeking personal or financial information.
