To all state employees,
You may recall in our project kickoff message on Jan. 21 that we introduced a proposal to change all Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) non-exempt salaried employees to FLSA non-exempt hourly employees in August of this year.
We want to provide a quick update regarding the date of this proposed change and take a moment to thank you for your questions and feedback. This topic is currently being dicussed with our labor partners and others, so we will not be moving forward with changes in August as orginally proposed. Out of respect for the bargaining process we will wait until the process has been completed before sending any further communication on this topic.
The implementation of the Workday Time Tracking and Payroll system is still projected for July 1, 2022.
