DCBS has a variety of forums for public involvement. Several advisory committees meet on a regular basis, and we hold hearings for changes to rules and health insurance rates.

Workers’ Compensation Management-Labor Advisory Committee

The Workers' Compensation Management-Labor Advisory Committee (MLAC) is a forum for business and labor to meet, explore, and resolve issues involving the workers’ compensation system.

Workers’ Compensation Medical Advisory Committee

The Medical Advisory Committee advises the Workers’ Compensation Division on matters related to delivering medical care to workers.

Construction safety boards

Seven Governor-appointed boards help the Building Codes Division carry out its mission of ensuring safe construction while promoting a positive business climate.

Insurance Advisory Committee

The Division of Financial Regulation’s Insurance Advisory Committee discusses key issues of insurance regulation. The committee meets quarterly with representation from insurance companies, insurance agencies, purchasers, and consumer groups.

Health Insurance Marketplace Advisory Committee

The Oregon Health Insurance Marketplace Advisory Committee provides guidance and feedback to the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS) about issues affecting Oregon’s health insurance marketplace.

Workers’ Compensation Board meetings

The Workers' Compensation Board provides timely and impartial resolution of disputes arising under Oregon Workers' Compensation Law and the Oregon Safe Employment Act. The board meets quarterly.
