DEQ and local project partners will present overview information in preparation for the commission's morning tour of two sites near The Dalles.

Working lunch and exective session
Commissioners will meet with DEQ and Oregon Department of Justice staff over a working lunch. The executive session is held under the authority of ORS 192.600(2)(h).
The commissioners will have a debrief of the morning's tour and discuss potential next steps for the commission, state agencies and local project partners working for water quality improvements across the state.
DEQ will present proposed rule revisions for the Underground Storage Tanks program, including a proposed fee increase.
DEQ and the commissioners will discuss logistics and planning details for upcoming commission meetings.
Commissioners will provide verbal updates on their recent activities of interest to the commission.
The commission will hold a town hall session to hear from the public on environmental issues. The town hall is a time for informal conversation with the commission; however, the town hall is not recorded, and is not a formal comment opportunity.

Commissioners and staff may attend an informal self-pay dinner on Thursday evening. No commission business will be conducted at the dinner.

Commissioners will take action on the proposed draft minutes from the March 21-22, 2018, EQC meeting.
Director Whitman will provide written and verbal updates on state, regional and national issues of interest to the commission.
Director Whitman will introduce the new members of the DEQ Leadership Team and provide updates on the agency's reorganization.
DEQ will present proposed updates to existing and new Ambient Benchmark Concentrations used for the agency's Air Toxics Program.

The commissioners will open a public comment opportunity at 12 p.m. for any general topics. People may provide comment in-person at the meeting or by toll-free telephone conference line. When presenting comment, either in person or by phone, all people will be asked to state their name for official record-keeping purposes and limit comments to three minutes or less. All times subject to change based on commission needs and the number of people signed up to present comment.
Working lunch and executive session
Commissioners will meet with DEQ and Oregon Department of Justice staff over a working lunch. The executive session is held under the authority of ORS 192.600(2)(f) and (h).
DEQ staff, with co-presenters from the Oregon Health Authority and Oregon Department of Forestry, will present updates and describe next steps for the Oregon Smoke Management Plan. DEQ participates in the development and implementation of the plan, which is maintained by the Department of Forestry. Both the Board of Forestry and EQC will be asked to approve the final plan in fall 2018.
