The Department of Human Services is in the process of recruiting a new director to lead the Office of Aging and People with Disabilities (APD). As part of that process, the Department is gathering multiple perspectives on the attributes that an APD Director should possess. Please share your input on the questions listed below by participating in our survey, which is available here
. The survey will be open through Friday, February 28.
The questions provided in the survey are:
- What do you view as the most significant progress that’s been achieved by the APD program on behalf of older adults and people with disabilities in the past two or three years?
- What priority areas would you expect a new APD director to begin or continue working on?
- What hasn’t APD been doing that you’d like the program to begin doing?
- What characteristics, qualities or skills do you think are most important in an APD Director?
Significant updates about the recruitment process will be posted here. If you have questions about the process, please send an email to APD.DirectorsOffice@dhsoha.state.or.us
